Congress, NCP should contest elections jointly: Rane
Kolhapur, Sep 25 (UNI) Maharashtra Revenue Minister and Congress leader Narayan Rane today said the Congress and NCP should jointly contest the elections due next year.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr Rane, however, clarified that the final decision in this regard would be taken by the party high command.
Replying to a query, he claimed that Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) would adversely affect the Shiv Sena in the coming elections and the Shiv Sena's dream to capture power in the state would remain unfulfilled.
