CM accepts the proposal of 4-lane road
Hyderabad, Sep 25 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today accepted the proposal to build a four-lane road on build-own-transfer (BOT) terms from Nizamabad (NH-7) to Jagayyapet via Jagtial, Karimnagar, Warangal and Khammam.
This was to connect the North Telangana districts with Vijayawada and Machilipatnam Ports and develop an industrial corridor along the four-lane road.
The Chief Minister approved the proposal and directed the R &B Department to immediately prepare the detailed project report.
Dr Reddy also approved the proposal of the four-lane elevated expressway from Parade Grounds to Shamirpet (part of Rajiv Rahadari) on BOT terms.
He also approved the proposal of the four-lane widening of Rajiv Rahadari up to Karimnagar.
