Tata Motors announces 18.75% bonus for employees

Jamshepur, Sep 24 (UNI) Tata Motors today announced a bonus of 18.75 per cent for the employees of its Jamshedpur plant for 2007-08.

According to a statement issued by the company here today the agreement to disburse bonus was signed by Plant Head S B Borvankar and Labour Union Leader Rajendra Singh.

As per the agreement the employees will get a minimum of Rs 21,926 and a maximum of Rs 31,349 as bonus depending on their pay slab.

Meanwhile, another company of Tata Group here, steel sheet producer Tinplate Ltd has also announced a consolidated bonus of 15.75 per cent (9.5 per cent bonus and 6.25 per cent as ex-gratia) for its employees for 2007-2008.
