Man who bought bull dies after being gored by animal

Gangtok, Sep 24 (UNI) A meat seller was gored to death by the ox he had purchased to slaughter at Dentam, West Sikkim.

Pema Bhutia (36), a resident of Banten in Geyzing, had bought a meaty ox from Begha busty at Dentam on September 21. He was accompanied by his friend Dawa Bhutia.

On the way back at Linching busty, the ox gored Pema Bhutia, who fell down some 40 feet away resulting in serious internal injuries.

He was immediately rushed to a nearby primary health centre and later referred to STNM hospital in Gangtok.

However, Pema Bhutia succumbed to his injuries and died on Monday, police said.
