Lucknow, Sep 24 (UNI) Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha today announced to observe October 16 as anti-terrorism day in Uttar Pradesh by holding demonstration in front of Vidhan Sabha here.

The party would hold the state executive meeting on September 28, where the leaders would discuss on the programme to be held on the announced day.

Party's secretary general Kamlesh Tiwari and general secretary Raj Kumar Tyagi, in a press statement here today, said during the anti-terrorism agitation, the party leaders would raise the nexus between some political parties and the terrorist organisations, besides demanding immediate hanging of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.

The party has also decided not to give party candidature against BJP MP Yogi Adityanath from Gorakhpur Lok Sabha seat. The decision was taken following a meeting between party state president Narayan Giri and Yogi recently.

During the executive meeting, the leaders would also discuss on the ways to uplift the party as an alternative of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) in the state, the statement said.
