Equip Noida police with high-tech modern weapons: UP CM
Lucknow, Sep 24 (UNI) Taking serious note on the gruesome killing the of CEO and Managing Director of Graziano Transmission Lalit Kumar Choudhary in Delhi's satellite town of Greater Noida on Monday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minsiter Mayawati has ordered to equip Noida police with high-tech security weapons.
The UP CM called a high-level meeting at Delhi and looked into the progress made into the case.
She also directed the UP chief secretary to visit Gautam Buddha Nagar tomorrow and learn about the problems of industralists and other investors in Noida and Greater Noida and give immidiate disposal to their problems.
She said Noida should be divided into two sectors and an area officer should be appointed at each sector, besides Greater Noida should also have an area officer.
She further directed to provide high tech modern security weapons to the Noida Police to meet the promises of peace and harmony that she had vowed to the people of the state.
On Monday, dismissed and disgruntled employees of Graziano had attacked Choudhary and other officials of the company following which Choudhary succumbed to his injuries.
Yesterday, the UP CM had ordered the DIG (Meerut Zone) to probe into the case.
Ms Mayawati had also issued suspension orders for Bisrakh SHO Jagmohan Sharma, besides issuing shifting orders for other concerned personnel from the police station.
