Mandepanda Family to host Kodava Family Hockey

Madikeri, Sep 23 (UNI) The Mandepanda family will be hosting the prestigious Kodava Family Hockey tournament in a grand manner in May 2009.

The family members met at the Ain house at Ammathi yesterday under the Chairmanship of Mani Madaiah and sought the co operation of all the members.

The meeting decided to hold the Family Hockey Festival at a cost of Rs 55 lakhs and distribute cash prizes to winners and recognize the best teams.

Mr Appachu Ranjan, MLA was felicitated on the occasion and the latter presented a cheque for Rs 50,000 as donation for the Hockey tournament. Ranjan also released the Family Hockey emblem on the occasion.
