Jamait-ul-Ahlihadees president's house attacked in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 23 (UNI) Jamait-ul-Ahlihadees President Moulana Showkats house was attacked on the outskirts of the city this evening, official sources said.

They said unidentified people hurled a hand grenade towards the house of Moulana Showkat on the outskirts this evening.

However, it missed the intended target and exploded without causing any damage.

Moulana Showkat, a member of the Coordination Committee (CC) spearheading the present agitation in the Kashmir, was not in the house when the attack took place.
