CII to train 150 Andhra students in soft skills
Hyderabad, Sep 23: To strengthen the education system, the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Andhra University has decided to train 150 faculty members of the University and its affiliated colleges in soft skills. The CII and Andhra University have formed a consortium to facilitate knowledge partnership for employability among students.
A meeting was held between Andhra University Vice-Chairman Prof B Satyanarayana, heads of various departments and CII (Andhra Pradesh) Taskforce on Skill Development and Affirmative Action, Chairman Pradeep Dhobale in this regard on Monday, Sep 22.
The MoU for this purpose was signed between CII and Andhra University on September 20 and 30 faculty members were already trained in soft skills by the consortium members.
