Bihar: 2 Govt officers suspended for dereliction of duties

Supaul, Sep 22: The local administration suspended two government officers in the district on Tuesday, Sep 23 for dereliction of duties during the floods. District magistrate N Sarvan Kumar told newspersons today that the block development officer of Pratapganj and an officer of the labour department were suspended for negligence towards duties during the flood.

Altogether five government employees have so far been suspended for dereliction of duties during the floods, said Mr Kumar.
