Reconciliation soccer match on October 9
Kohima, Sep 22 (UNI) With an effort to unite the underground warring factions through reconciliation, the Nagaland Christian Forum (NCF) will host a football match here on October nine.
It will be played between a joint team of underground factions and the leaders of Naga civil societies.
In a release here today the NCF said it endorsed the 'covenant of common hope' issued by the participants of all the underground factions of Nagaland in the Naga Peace Summit III in Chiang Mai in Thailand this year.
The NCF does not say that a football match is going to solve the problem nor is it an indication that reconciliation has taken place, but certainly it is a constructive process, the release added.
