India's first Int Sperm Bank Set up in Mumbai

Mumbai, Sep 22 (UNI) Cryos International India Private Limited today launched the country's first International Sperm Bank, in collaboration and under franchisee agreement with Cryos International, the Denmark based biggest sperm bank network in the world.

Speaking to mediapersons, Cryos International India Managing Director Dilip Patil said, ''Aim of Cryos India is to help the needy, emotionally stressed childless couples from India and of Indian origin to have their own child, which is like dream come true. With the growing awareness and acceptability of Assisted Reproduction Technique (ART), there is growing demand for independent, quality sperm and egg banks in India, which we are now delighted to offer.'' Mr Patil said ''There are instances that such couples are ready to go to other countries for In Vitro Fertilizaton (IVF) treatment and they end up spending their fortune for the same. Cryos International is here to give a helping hand to all such couples.'' Meanwhile, Cryos International, Denmark, Managing Director Ole Schou said, ''Globally, sperm banking is no longer a solution only for the infertile couples.
