Desk of International Affairs set up at HAU

Hisar, Sep 22 (UNI) Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCS HAU) has established a Desk of International Affairs at its Directorate of Human Resource Management (DHRM). The university Registrar Dr R S Dalal said that establishment of this desk will facilitate and accelerate greater exchange of students and staff from CCS HAU and foreign universities.

He informed, the university has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with several foreign universities incliuding Michigan University of USA, Maryland State University of USA and Weningen University of Netherlands, he said.

Besides, process of signing MOUs with the research institutes and universities of with Germany, France and Netherland etc. were in pipeline, he added.

The Registrar said that the need for the establishment of this cell was being felt in view of the intents for collaboration being received from foreign universities.

According to Dr R.K. Kashyap, Director, Human Resource Management of CCS HAU, two batches of students of the final year Degree Programme of Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences( B.V.Sc.), Agriculture and Home Sciences have already accomplished their study tours with the universities of USA under the aforesaid MOUs. He said that Dr R.B. Srivastava, Associate Director, Human Resource Management and Incharge of the Patent Cell of the university has been entrusted with the responsibility of heading the Desk of International Affairs.
