Body of minor girl recovered in Nawada

Nawada, Sept 22 (UNI) Bihar police recovered the body of a minor girl, missing for the past two days, at a place near Roah of this south Bihar district today.

Police said the eight-year-old daughter of one Lali Chouhan, a dweller of Musepur village, was missing for the past two days. A case in this connection was registered at a local police station.

''The body of the girl carrying marks of multiple fatal injuries, was recovered from a septic tank,'' police said adding prima facie it appeared that the body of the girl was disposed off in the septic tank after her murder somewhere else.

Later, the local villagers blocked the Nawada-Kawakor road for six hours, disrupting the vehicular movement in protest against the incident.The blockade, was however lifted after intervention of the officials of the district administration.

Raids were being carried out to nab the criminals.
