Shimla gears up for Guru Gaddi Nashini Festival

Shimla, Sep 21 (UNI) The Himachal Pradesh Government would be extending all possible help to the local Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee to celebrate the 300 years of Guru Gaddi Nashini Festival scheduled for October 11 and 12 in Shimla.

This was stated by Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal in a high level meeting convened to review the arrangements being made by the organising committee and the district administration in association with other organisations here today.

He said that elaborate arrangements would be made to celebrate the 300 years of 'Guru Gaddi Nashini' in a most befitting manner.

The district administration would be assisting the festival organising committee in the celebrations.

He said that all arrangements would be made to maintain law and order during the festival by the police authorities.
