WR celebrates foundation day of Rly Police by organising programmes

Ahmedabad, Sep 20 (UNI) The Western Railway (WR) has organised many programmes for the celebration of the 'Foundation Day of Railway Police' of the Ahmedabad division, which commenced here today.

During the four-day event, various programmes such as commuter awareness guidance campaign, tree plantation drive, sports activites and street plays would be held. Also, passenger safety information would be distributed, sources in the Western Railway said.

A blood donation camp has also been organised at Ahmedabad Railway Station on September 23, in which more than 200 railway employees and police personnel will voluntarily participate. It will be inaugurated by the Divisional Rail Manager Rajeev Mishr, sources added.
