Free transportation of relief materials by Railways to Bihar

Bilaspur, Sep 20 (UNI) Relief material for flood victims in Bihar would be transported free of cost by Railway till October 31, South Eastern Central Railway sources said today.

Any organisation or individual can send relief material to Saharsa, Purnia, Katihar and Khadgia in Bihar through Railway free of cost.

Several lakhs of people have been rendered homeless due to severe flood in Kosi river in Bihar and have been lodged in camps. Relief materials are being sent from Chhattisgarh and other parts of the country through rail and road.
