Court awards life term to six accused in murder case

Banka, Sept 20 (UNI) A fast track court today awarded life imprisonment to six accused in a murder case.

The designated judge of the fast track court (II) P N Tiwary found guilty Chandrashekhar Roy, Nagashwar Roy, Police Roy, Lakhsman Roy, Satyam Roy and Maheshwari Singh under section 302/34 of the Indian Penal code and sentenced life term to all of them.

According to the charges, the victims Md Riwaz, Md Minaz and Md Harun, dwellers of the Surakool village under the Banka police station area were brutally murdered by six co-villagers on December 10,1989 following an old rivalry.

A case had been filed in this regard.
