CM gives Rs 4 lakh to explosion tragedy victim family

Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has given Rs four lakh assistance from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund to the surviving members of the family that suffered the fridge compressor explosion tragedy.

Four members of a family, including a woman, were killed in the accident that occurred due to short circuit at their residence in Saki Naka here on September 16.

Mr Deshmukh handed over a cheque to Abdul Sheikh of the family yesterday in Mantralaya, an official release said here today.
