Manipur: AR helps remote children tour country

Imphal, Sep 20: Assam Rifles has announced an educational tour for the tribal students of Ukhrul Higher Secondary School, Phadang Village and Sangshak, Ukhrul district.

The PRO of Assam Rifles said 32 students and three staff will be touring several historical and tourist places at Kohima and Kolkata.

The tour will help the students to widen their knowledge, the PRO said adding the students will get an op-portunity to interact with people from other states during their tour which will further enhance their knowledge and broaden their outlook towards progress made by the nation in various fields.
