Aamir's 'Taare Zameen Par' nominated for Ocsar

Mumbai, Sep 20 (UNI) Aamir Khan's directorial debut movie 'Taare Zameen Par' has been nominated for the Oscar awards from India.

According to sources, 'Taare Zameen Par' succeeded in getting the nomination for the Oscar, piping eight other movies. Among them were two Marathi movies 'Tingya' and 'Valu'.

This will be Aamir's second movie for the Oscar. The earlier movie was 'Lagaan', which was produced and acted by him.

However, with 'Tare Zameen Par', apart from acting, the actor has also entered in the field of direction.

The script of movie was written by Amol Gupte.
