SCR to run special trains during Dassera

Vijayawada, Sep 19 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) will run special trains between Howrah-Chennai-Howrah and Hatia-Secunderabad-Hatia to clear the extra rush of passengers during Dassera.

SCR Senior Divisional Commercial Manager B Vijaya Bhaskar, in a release here today said the Howrah-Chennai special would depart at 1610 hrs on October 4 and 11 and arrive Chennai at 2145 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, the Chennai-Howrah special will depart at 0955 hrs on October 6 and 13 and arrive Howrah at 1420 hrs the next day.

The Hatia-Secunderabad special will depart at 1020 hrs on October 16, 23 and 30 and arrive Secunderabad at 2140 hrs the next day.

In the return direction, the Secunderabnas-Hatia special will leave Secunderabad at 1555 hrs on October 18, 25 and November 1 and arrive Hatia at 1915 hrs the next day, the release added.
