Police face tough time following series of chain snatching

Puducherry, Sep 19 (UNI) Police at the Odeansaali and Reddiyarpalayam limits had a tough time last night, as two motorcycle-borne criminals unleashed a series of chain snatching.

Police said the micreants snatched chains at two places in Odeansaalai and two places in Reddiyarpalayam police limit and look away more than eight soverign of gold. Victims at both the areas described them as riding a black motorcycle and wearing T Shirts and shoes, with which police came to the conclusion that in all the places it was the handiwork of the same people.

Four special teams were formed to trace the culprits in Cuddalore, Villupuram, Tindivanam and Ginjee, the police added.
