4 CPI(M), 1 RSS activists injured in bomb explosion

Kannur, Sep 19: Four CPI(M) and one RSS 'Karyavahak' were injured in an alleged bomb explosion at Ponnyam Kunduchira, near Thalassery in the district on Thursday, Sep 18.

Police said a 25 CPI(M) activists man handled RSS worker P Prasanth (27) and hurled country-made bombs in connection with the damage to CPI(M) boards.

The injured had been admittted at Thalassery Cooperative Hospital, police added.
