DMK resorts to booth capturing in local polls: Vaiko
Chennai, Sep 19: Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam(MDMK) general secretary Vaiko alleged booth capturing and casting of bogus votes by DMK members was glaringly evident during the Chennai and Madurai Corporation elections on Thursday, Sep 18.
In a release from his party office here last night Mr Vaiko alleged the DMK workers attacked the AIADMK activities and the CPI(M) cadres when they tried to prevent the violence let-loose by DMK workers. Chief Minister M Karunanidhi is responsible for the violence, he alleged.
The MDMK general secretary also alleged the Madras High Court had earlier condemned the government for encouraging anti-social activities in the state.
