CoD yet to receive order from govt: ADGP
Bangalore, Sep 19 (UNI) Corps of Detectives (CoD) has not received any order from the Karnataka government to inquire into the attacks on places of worship in the state, CoD ADGP Ajay Kumar Singh said today.
Addressing a press conference here, he said his department was yet to receive the government's order into the attacks on places of worship.
''Once we receive communication from the state government on the issue, the COD will pursue it'' Mr Singh said.
Earlier, Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had announced a CoD inquiry into the attack on places of worship in Udupi, Chickmagalur, Daxina Kannada and other places in the state following a cabinet decision.
