Blast rocks SBI Aizawl main branch

Aizawl, Sep 19(UNI) A single low intensity blast rocked the State Bank of India Aizawl main branch at Zodin Sqaure here this morning.

Police said the blast, which occurred near the manager (account)'s room, partially damaged some computers and interior of the building. They said it was caused by a gelatin. Another stick of gelatin failed to go off and police recovered it.

There was no casualty as the blast took place before the staff arrived.

Police launched an investigation.
