Staff of Provident Fund office caught red handed accepting bribe
Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) An employee of district Provident Fund(PF) office was today arrested by sleuth of state vigilance bureau while accepting Rs 3,000 as bribe from a retired employee of Patna Medical College Hospital(PMCH).
Official sources said here that acting on a complaint of the retired employee of PMCH Surendra Prasad Singh, raid was carried out leading to arrest of Ranjan Prasad Srivastav when he was accepting Rs 3000 from him in lieu of extending favour in his final withdrawal from the PF account.
Earlier, Mr Singh had lodged a complaint with state vigilance bureau that Mr Srivastav was demanding illegal gratification for the final withdrawal from the PF account.
