SHGs will get loan at 4 pc interest rate

Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Sep 18 (UNI) Maharashtra Government today announced that Women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) will henceforth be provided loans at a four per cent interest rate.

Addressing a press conference here, after the two-day long Cabinet meeting, the chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said the women SHGs will be provided loans to make them self-dependent.

''They would be given loan at four per cent interest rate, while remaining seven per cent interest will be borne by the government,'' he added.
