SGPC suspends Gurdwara Manager

Fatehgarh Sahib, Sep 18: The Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has suspended Harbans Singh, the manager of Gurdwara Kukkar Majra, Mandi Gobindgarh and taken the Gurdwara record in its custody.

As per Ravinder Singh Khalsa, SGPC member from Amloh, some illegal construction work was taken up in the premises and the Gurdwara Manager failed to show documents pertaining to approval of the construction.

After receiving a complaint in this regard, a task force of the SGPC visited the Gurdwara and after looking into the documents, decided to suspend the manager.

Now the charge of the Gurdwara has been given to Gurjit Singh.
