Lankan youth arrested from cyber cafe in Jammu
Jammu, Sep 18 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir police arrested a Sri Lankan youth from a cyber cafe in the heart of the city on getting information about some suspicious movement, official sources said here today.
''On noticing doubtful activities of a youth, the cyber cafe owner informed the police last evening,'' sources said, asserting that the police reached the cafe in civil clothings and arrested the youth, who during investigation, disclosed his identity.
''The youth has been identified as Hasan Nafeez, resident of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and was surfing websites of some militant organisations when the police held him,'' a senior police official told UNI.
The youth also revealed that earlier too he had visited various countries without having any visa and passport, police official added.
The state police had sounded alert in the winter capital and directed all the cyber cafe owners to remain vigilant and keep check on the anti-national elements with suspicious movements, following the serial blasts in Delhi on September 13.
