Kovai Nilayam MD bags VCMCS 'best entrepreneur award'

Chennai, Sep 18 (UNI) Senthil Natarajan, Managing Director of Kovai Pazhamudhir Nilayam, was honoured with 'The Best Entrepreneur Award' by the Velammal College of Management and Computer Studies (VCMCS), a premier Institute.

Mr Natarajan has won the award for his outstanding contribution and for having crossed milestones, created records and has made achievements to emerge as the best entrepreneur, within a short span of time.

He was presented the award by M V M Velmurugan, Chief Executive Officer, Velammal College of Management and Computer Studies , at a function held at the college campus recently.

Mr Natarajan has made a significant contribution in making Pazhamudir Group, a success company. After making a humble beginning in 1965, the group has grown leaps and bounds and emerged as the principal retailers of fruits and vegetables, not only in Tamil Nadu, but in the entire South India.

The group was the first to launch the concept of ''Fresh'' in the city, making available fresh fruits and vegetables.

Mr Natarajan has played a significant role in the group, opening 23 branches in Tamil Nadu, Bangalore and Puducherry.

VCMCS was a premier management institute that excels in specialised knowledge, analytical oriental skills, development and attitude.
