Hooda expresses concern over menace of stray cattle
Chandigarh, Sep 18 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has expressed concern over the menace of stray cattle, especially cows on roads.
Interacting with a delegation of "Gau Raksha Samiti", which called on him here today, the Chief Minister said that to control the menace of cattle, cows should be given proper care by Gaushalas.
There are 300 Gaushalas in the State.
The delegation was led by Haryana Minister of State for Revenue Savitri Jindal and Member of Parliament Naveen Jindal and CONFED Chairman Bajrang Dass Garg.
On the invitation of the members of the "Gau Raksha Samiti", the Chief Minister gave his consent to preside over "Gau Raksha Sammelan" to be organised on November 6 at Hisar.
Acharya Baldev ji, President of State unit of Gau Raksha Samiti was also present on the occasion.
