BJP decries parties demanding ban on RSS

Lucknow, Sep 18 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) today lambasted the prominent political parties for supporting the Student Islamic Movement of India and demanding a ban on the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh.

The Samajwadi Party (SP), the Congress and the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) were only engaged in the politics of appeasement and supporting the SIMI, that has given way to various terror attacks in the country, Uttar Pradesh BJP vice-president and spokesperson Hridey Narayan Dixit today said here.

Instead of watching the activities of the SIMI, these parties were after the RSS which respects its country a lot, he added.

The party leader further accused the ruling Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in the state for supporting some anti-national elements.

''The BJP would not spare them anymore,'' Mr Dixit said.
