Sakhalin-1 output to fall: ONGC

Noida, Sept 17 (UNI) Oil and Natural Gas Corp Ltd today said it expects output from Russia's Sakhalin-1 project to fall to about 160,000 barrels per day (bpd) next year from 190,000 bpd.

The state-run exploration firm holds a 20 per cent stake in the venture.

''It will continue to decline until 2010. Then again it will go up as phase-2 development is completed,'' a company official told reporters here on the sidelines of a conference.
