Rs 9 lakh looted from businessman

Dehri-on-Son, Sep 17(UNI) Unidentified armed criminals today looted Rs nine lakh in cash and gold jewellery from a businessman on Cinema road under Dehri-on-Sone police station area in Rohtas district today.

Police said the criminals attacked a businessman Sukhwinder Singh Betta and looted Rs 2.36 lakh in cash and 450 gms of gold jewellery worth Rs 6.64 lakh from him at gunpoint when he was on way to showroom of a local trader this afternoon.

''Raids are being carried out to nab the criminals and recover the looted cash and ornaments from them,'' police added.
