RPI takes out morcha in Manmad
Nashik, Sep 17 (UNI) The activists of Republican Party on India (RPI- A) took out a march in Manmad town of the district yesterday, to protest the verdict in the Khairlanji massacre case.
The morcha, led by RPI district chief Rajabau Ahire, began from the party's central office. The protestors shouted slogans against the Maharashtra government near the Ambedkar statue before submitting a memorandum to regional officer Garande.
The memorandum blamed the Chief Minister, Home Minister, police and CBI for indirectly helping the accused.
The memorandum demanded death sentence for all the accused in the case and warned of intense agiation by the party in case of failure to do so.
Meanwhile, Maharashtra secretary of the RPI (A) group Priykriti Tribhuvan also condemned the verdict, terming it as a blot on the state govenment.
