Groundnutseed, oil, RBD Palmolein declines

Mumbai, Sep 17 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil and RBD Palmolein further eased today on sustained heavy selling pressure from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

Price of Groundnutseed declined by Rs 25 per quintal on lower buying support. However, both castorseed Disa and Hyderabad rose by Rs 20 and Rs 50 per quintal each on sustained demand by stockists.

other seeds remained unchanged on moderate demand from stockists, traders said.

In edible oils (per ten kg), groundnut oil and refined palm oil fell by Rs five and Rs six per ten kg respectively, amid lack of fresh demand from local dealers.

Cottonseed refined, rapeseed exp and copra white also fell by Rs five per ten kg each, on sluggish demand from stockists.

Castor comm, linseed and seasame expeller remained flat.

In de-oiled cakes, except undec cottonseed, all others remained steady.

Undec cottonseed exp reduced by Rs 100 per metric tonne on poor offtake, traders added.
