Written test of operators in police on September 28

Srinagar, Sep 16 (UNI) In view of the general strike called by Coordination Committee (CC), spearheading the present agitation in Kashmir, on September 20, the written test of Constable (operators) in the police department has been rescheduled.

A notification issued by Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters (PHQ) here said the written test of candidates for the post of Constable (Operator), earlier scheduled for September 20, will now be held on September 28 simultaneously in Jammu and Srinagar.

It said the venue of the test shall remain Amar Singh College, Srinagar for candidates belonging to Kashmir province including Ladakh Division and University Campus, Jammu for candidates belonging to Jammu Division.

The CC has asked people to observe strike from Friday at 1230 hrs till Saturday evening. However, it has asked people to resume normal activities on Sunday.
