Karnataka Imams Council to protest attack on places of workship

Bangalore, Sep 16(UNI) Karnataka Imams Council (KIC) will stage a dharna here tomorrow to condemn the attacks on places of worship in three districts in the state.

Mr Mafti Ihathmul Haq, a functionary of KIC, in a statement, said the attacks on prayer halls and places of worship in three districts in Karnataka posed a threat to the country's unity and strength.

In protest against such incidents and demanding immediate action against the culprits, the KIC will hold a protest dharna in front of the Gandhi Statue, he said.
