BJS to contest LS poll on 129 seats in South India
Thrissur, Sep 16 (UNI) Bharathiya Jana Shabdh, a newly-floated national political party, will contest the coming Lok Sabha elections on 129 seats in South India.
The decision was taken by the party's national executive which met in Guruvayur yesterday, its president K Arunkumar told a news conference here today.
He said the executive had decided to field candidates in all the 20 Lok Sabha seats in Kerala, 28 in Karnataka, 39 in Tamil Nadu and 42 in Andhra Pradesh.
Mr Arunkumar said candidates for 19 seats in Kerala had already been selected and the nominee for the Kasaragod seat would be decided later.
He said he himself would be contesting from Thrissur.
