Rupee up by 21 paise at 45.52 against USD

Mumbai, Sep 15: The spot rupee on Monday, Sep 15 resumed firm at 45.52 against US Dollar, with a small gain of 21 paise, from the previous day's close of 45.73 on fresh dollar demand by foreign banks and others.

Brokers said the domstic currency fluctuated in a wide range between 45.52 and 45.92 against dollar during mid-session. The partially-convertible rupee fell as a slide in Asian stocks raised concerns about further fund outflows, brokers added.
