Minister assures security to ancient temple

Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, Sep 15 (UNI) Security would be provided to the ancient 'Padagaya Kshetram' temple complex in Pithapuram, Endowments Minister J Rathnakararao has said.

Talking to newspersons during his visit to the shrine here last night, the minister said initially, two plus two security would be provided to the temple, which would be strengthened later depending upon the requirement.

Artistes, who plays tabla, dolu, sannayi and other instruments, would be appointed in junior assistant cadre at the temple, he said.

The Minister also assured that he would instruct the District Collector to take steps for shifting the garbage dumping yard near the temple.
