Keira Knightley to take break from Hollywood to read books

Washington, September 15 : English actress Keira Knightley has decided to take a hiatus from her Hollywood career - to catch up on her reading.

The 23-year-old admits not having films lined up and plans to spend her spare time in her London flat reading books and cooking food.

"It's been a strange years as far as films go. With the writers' strike in Hollywood, a lot of financing has fallen through." Contactmusic quoted Knightley as saying.

"I'm going to sit in my flat, read books and cook" she added.

Knightley began her career as a child actress but shot to Hollywood fame with films like "Bend It Like Beckham" and "The Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy.
