3 killed, 2 injured in train-related accidents
Hyderabad Sep 15 (UNI) Three people were killed and two injured in three separate train accidents during the last 24 hours in the city.
According to railway police, 18-year-old Sarafaraj Khan was killed on the spot while two others were injured after they accidentally fell from a speeding train near Necklace Road station last night. The injured were admitted to a hospital.
Another person, P Nageshwar Rao (26) who also fell from a train at the same station died on the spot, after being run over by the train.
In a third incident, one B Yadagiri(56) was run over by a local train when he was crossing the railway-track at Sanjeevaiah Park area today.
The trains were overcrowded as people were coming here to witness Ganesh immersion ritual. Passengers were clinging on to the door of the coaches.
