Srinagar, Sep 14: A first of its kind National Level Institute of Management (NLIM) in Northern India would be constructed at Tulibul, Sopore, about 55 km from here in north Kashmir.
The centrally sponsored institute would provide all kinds of facilities of management courses. Presently, this kind of institutes are functional in Hyderabad, Kolkata and Allahabad.
This information was given during inspection of Land at Tulibul by a team of senior officers comprising Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir Masood Samoon, Secretary Higher Education, Khazir Mohammed Wani, Secretary works, Shalinder Kumar, District Development Commissioner Baramulla and Director Higher Education.
The team also inspected the disputed 73 kanals approach road for railway at Humlina and Seerjagir in Sopore tehsil and settled the issue on spot with the land owners whose land has come under this road. The rates has also been refixed on the spot.
