Bharuch's industrialist dies in road accident near Vadodara
Vadodara, Sep 14 (UNI) Industrialist Kirit Patel and his wife Dakshaben were killed when their car collided head-on with a truck at Varnama on the national highway number eight, about 15 km from here.
Two other police constables, who were on duty near the accident spot, also reportedly sustained minor injuries in the accident, that occurred yesterday.
According to police, the sexagenarian couple were on their way to Anand from Bharuch when their vehicle met with the fatal accident. Both succumbed to their injuries before being brought to the SSG hospital.
Mr Patel, who owns a steel manufacturing company in Bharuch, was reportedly driving his car to Anand to attend a social function there. Varnama police were still looking for the truck driver, who managed to flee after the accident.
