Two killed, three shops gutted in Kashmir

Srinagar, Sep 13 (UNI) Two people were killed in a road accident while three shops were gutted in a fire in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.

They said the two were injured critically when a bus on way to Srinagar from Anantnag hit their motorcycle at Awantipora on the National Highway.

They were admitted to the Sher-e-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) at Soura where they died.

Three shops, including one the store of Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CA&PD), were gutted in the fire at Sultan Daki in border town of Uri. The cause of the fire was yet to be known, the sources said.
