No discrimination against terrorists: Sonia
New Delhi, Sep 13 (UNI) Congress President Sonia Gandhi today said the UPA government would not discriminate against any terrorist and was dealing with terrorism with an iron hand.
''In the name of fighting terrorism, we should not discriminate against or show partiality to any terrorist, and allow society to be divided,'' Ms Gandhi said at a meeting of the extended Congress Working Committee.
Her remarks come in the wake of BJP allegation that the UPA government was soft on terror and delaying the hanging of Parliament- attack accused Afzal Guru.
''When we compare the NDA's track record, we are far better,'' she said.
''We are dealing firmly with terrorism and nobody can raise fingers at us,'' she added.
