'Dasara Food Festival' begins from September 30
Mysore, Sep 13 (UNI) Mouth watering cuisines of different regions of the country will be on display and sale at the week-long 'Dasara Food Festival' commencing here from September 30.
Talking to newspersons here today, Chairman of the Food festival R M Narasimamurthy said varieties of food items from across the country, including Karavali, Malnad and North Indian would be available at the food festival, which will have more then 30 stalls of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
About one lakh people were expected to visit the food festival this year, which would be an added attraction during the Dasara festivities.
An eating competition for the youth would also be conducted during the seven days, besides regular culture programmes to enthral the Mysorians and others, who visit the festival every day.
'Farmers Dasara' would be held from October one, as part of the Dasara festivities and it has been organised for the first time.
